2What's a train? Did you know your clock has at least one train in it? Trains refer to the series of gears (we call 'em wheels) that give energy to one of up to four functions in a clock: the Time train moves the hands (every clock has this train -- otherwise it's not much of a clock). The Strike train is that part that tells you what time it is at the top of the hour. It might be a ding or a cuckoo, but we still call it the strike train. The Chime train provides motion to the music that some clocks play on the quarter hour or, for cuckoo clocks, on the half and top of the hour. The Animation train is usually only found on cuckoo clocks and takes the form of dancers or other animated features. It often derives power from the Chime (music) train, but nevertheless is a separate train. The base cost includes one train. Additional trains (up to 3) incur the extra cost shown. For example, a small cuckoo clock that plays music would cost base price + two trains (the bird and the music).

3These clocks are represented here with no train upcharges because they typically have the configuration shown or they typically only come in one configuration.

The warranty is dependent on complete payment and is applicable solely to clocks that have undergone full servicing. It excludes part costs, including any additional parts needed to fulfill the warranty, though all labor expenses are covered by the warranty. The warranty period spans one year from the clock's delivery to the customer, with customers holding service contracts entitled to a two-year warranty.

Repairs require a full service. We insist on this rule because we want you to have the best experience possible and the best possible lifetime for your clock. Simply fixing a broken spring for example might put the clock back in order for a while, but only a full service will ensure your clock will run for years to come. Full service also includes a full one year warranty at no extra charge.

Cash or check only. No third-party checks and no credit or debit cards. We require 50% of the estimated cost up front and the remainder when you pick up (or are delivered) your finished clock.
