Clocks that receive a Full Service are covered by our 1-year limited warranty, beginning on the date the completed clock is returned to the customer.
This warranty covers defects in our workmanship and problems with the clock's mechanical operation, including pre-existing problems that were not apparent when the clock was received for service. If a covered problem occurs during the warranty period, we will inspect the clock and, when appropriate, make the necessary repairs at no additional charge.
Work performed as a Partial Service carries a 30-day limited warranty. The warranty applies only to the work specifically performed.
Our warranty covers the workmanship involved in the service performed, but does not cover problems with components or mechanisms that were not part of the work performed.
Some clock components are inherently delicate and subject to failure even when properly installed and handled. Because of their delicate nature, we cannot warrant these components themselves. We do, however, warrant our workmanship in installing them.
Our warranty does not cover normal wear, deterioration, or failure of components that were not replaced or repaired as part of the service.
Our warranty does not cover:
Mechanical damage caused by rough handling, dropping, or improper moving or transportation of the clock.
Damage resulting from improper operation, including forcing controls, hands, or other components.
Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, adjustments, or modifications performed after our service.
Normal wear and deterioration of clock components.
In the case of a Partial Service, failure of parts or components not included in the work performed.
Damage resulting from conditions beyond our reasonable control.
Delicate components, including suspension springs and balance-wheel springs, are subject to the limitations described in Parts and Delicate Components.
If a clock develops a problem during the warranty period, please contact us before attempting repairs or adjustments yourself or having anyone else work on the clock. Unauthorized repairs, adjustments, or modifications may void warranty coverage for resulting damage or problems. We will inspect the clock, determine whether the problem is covered by the warranty, and advise you of any applicable charges before performing work that is not covered.
Warranty coverage is subject to the terms and limitations described above. It does not include additional services or repairs that fall outside the applicable warranty coverage.
